itz all a matter of acceptance, if you really think about it....
every disagreement consists of one party not accepting the terms of another party, so a debate, argument or conflict ensues..... i see it all day long, with cultural differences, spiritual, musical, sexual, social, and even petty situations.....itz all a matter of acceptance, if you really look into it....
but who says whatz acceptable? who says whatz "normal"? Oddly enough itz up to each person to decide for themselves, but the problem is that ppl let others dictate whatz important to them(i.e. followers, haters etc....)
this is just a waste of hard earned time and energy, cuz all these situations we face in life can be resolved easily if more ppl were willing to accept things that are foreign or unknown to them....maybe there's more to the story than just the saggy pants and a sideways hat.....
if we all take a look in the mirror and see things we do not accept for OURSELVES, it'll be a lot easier to notice what you allow others to decide for you......music, movies, tv shows, books, video games, magazines, newspapers, the Internet, and any other medium i didnt mention has the ability to implant ideas and decisions into us that lead us away from our path of inner truth, even what im typing has the ability to create blind followers, just based on the eloquence of my word choices, and the order i put them in.....isnt this the meaning of life, the spread of knowledge, ideas, and culture, to spread it and pass it on to later generations...? itz a good AND a bad thing that we all have a choice in what we tell other ppl, cuz we are only as smart as our experiences allow us to be, but to weed out the wack and keep the universal truths is a job, no, OBLIGATION each of us holds for the young ones lookin up to us for the same knowledge we seek every day of our lives, till we die....
so who says whatz cool...?
YOU do.....but i dont have to agree OR accept it, tho it'll make it easier for us to live, conflict may be necessary in order to weed out these falsies and inaccuracies life throws at us and the media promotes and embellishes.....
itz a tough job, but SOMEBODIES gotta do it, and we gotta start somewhere....
that somewhere is in our hearts.....
